Le Bateau is an Amsterdam-based designer duo, comprised of Laëtitia Delauney and Aurélia Noudelmann. Our practice works with the conception of hybrid boats, where exchanges of knowledge, techniques, and ideas can take shape. These boats are created by and for inclusive initiatives in close collaboration with participating artists. We approach our work physically and conceptually: to facilitate rooms to reflect on community practices, especially for feminist and queer initiatives.

Le bateau is kindly supported by Amsterdam 750 fond and the Stimulerings Funds Talent Program for 2024-2025.
Le bateau was supported previously by Amsterdam Fonds voor de Kunst, the Gerrit Rietveld Academie Student Council, and crowfunding.
Buurtwerkplaats Noorderhof is an ongoing social design project located at the Sloterplas in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. It’s at this meeting and development place that we built our boat from April to July 2021. It is a place that often organizes and welcomes associative initiatives and events.
