Le Bateau is looking for an intern! 📢

From mid-March / April, we are looking for a motivated and curious person (based in or able to stay in Amsterdam) to join us for an intense and exciting spring–summer season.

Le Bateau is an artist duo working at the intersection of art, boat-building and collective practices. This season, we will be developing a new floating artwork and engaging in hands-on building, testing and collective making.

You will be close to the heart of our practice — in the workshop, on site, outdoors — sharing the daily life of an artist duo and gaining insight into a collaborative, feminist & queer artistic practice.

We are looking for:
𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 – 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀)

The internship is approximately 4 days a week, with flexible scheduling, for a minimum of two months (March/April until late June or early July).

No prior experience in building, editing or navigation is required — enthusiasm, adaptability are more important to us.

Unfortunately, this internship is unpaid, but meals on work days and transport costs are covered.
