🌊 Hello moussaillon·ne! 🌊

On May 31st at 2pm, Le Bateau warmly invites you to our traditional collective & celebratory boat launch on the Sloterplas lake 💙
Since March, we’ve been building together with an incredible group of volunteers, neighbors and artists, a monstrous (*hot) boat inspired by the myth of Scylla 🐉

Now it’s finally time for its very first swim: the moment where a construction site transforms into a living, moving sculpture.

✨ How the afternoon will unfold:
– gathering & welcoming at Buurtwerkplaats Noorderhof, name reveal competition (win tickets for Bosch Parade)
PLUS: a gigantic Bingo / fortune wheel shaped like a rudder 🎰✨ unexpected prizes included!
– Drinks and final preparations around the boat
– a collective procession toward the lake to launch *** &Champagne breaking 🍾
– Surprises and joyful chaos

You are invited to walk with the boat into the lake and become part of its first journey!
The more bodies, voices and hands present, the stronger the ritual becomes.

💛 Come swim, help, witness, celebrate or simply hang out with us :)
💛 Bring friends, lovers, neighbors, kids, curious strangers, everyone is welcome!

Before the boat sails to @boschparade and @dtrh_festival **and hopefully the seven seas ** This will be its very first encounter with water!
